Diffrent Sides of the Castle
Prolouge- Stowaway at the Spring Ball
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Lady __________?" Your butler, Eduard, called, knocking on the door to your bedroom. You looked from your mirror. "You are about to be introduced at the Spring Ball. Are you ready yet?" he asked. You smiled.
"Almost done, Eduard." You called. "Just a few more minutes." And you turned back to your hair. It was the Spring Ball in the country of (where you live) and it always made you excited. Being the princess, you always helped prepare for this lovely event. You loved the balls celebrated, but you were never a big fan of how you were suppose to dress during them. You prefered more comfortable dresses, not the kind that squeeze your waist into oblivion. The birds chirped outside in the clear, ocean blue sky, as you put the finishing touches on your hair. Of course, this ball was for specially invited guests only, so you expected everyone there to be in tuxedos and luxurious dresses. You stood up, spinning in your (favorite color) dress, as you  headed out the door. "I'm ready!" You said to Eduard. "How do I look?" Eduard smiled.
"Like the finest lady in the land, now come along." He took your hand and led you to the ballroom. He waited for a moment, to remind you, "Be sure to accept the hand of any man asking you to dance. Watch your toes, and don't speak unless spoken too. These people are not family ro close friends, you must ask dirrent then you do around your parents." You nodded,  and you heard your father speak.
"Ladies and gentlemen.. We thank you for coming from all across the land to join us! Now we would like to welcome our beautifull soon to be heir to the throne, Princess ________!" The ballroom erupted with applause as Eduard pushed the doors open. You walked in, smiling at everyone. You looked around, and saw multiple people there. Lady Elizabetha and her husband, Sir Roderich, from Ausrtia-Hungary, the Italian Princes with their grandfather, King Roman, Prince Gilbert of Prussia, with his guardian, Sir Fritz. Gilbert didn't look amused to be here, as if he ever was. He was the only people who agreed with you that balls were sometimes a waste of time, when you have one every season. But you realized that there was someone here that you had never recognized before. He was standing in the back of the room. He had beautiful blonde hair, and grass green eyes that reminded you of your garden. And above those eyebrows, were the thickest eyebrows you've ever seen. Walking onto the dance floor, you bowed to the crowd, allowing them to continuing their merry-making. People began to dance. You walked on the floor, until someone tapped on your shoulder. You turned around to see the man with the big eyebrows. He smiled at you.
"May I have this dance, my dear?" he asked, bowing. You smiled, nodding.
"You may..." he smiled, taking your hand as he led you to the dance floor. Putting a hand on your waist, you and him spun around the floor.
"I was meaning to ask you for a dance since the ball began, I'm glad I was the first to ask." He said. You smiled. "You don't look all to enthused with this, love." he said. Immediatly you knew he was British. "Is something the matter?" you nodded.
"Yes, of course. It's just, I love balls and I love all the ideas of being a part of them, but being a princess is quite difficult sometimes.." You stated.
"Well how so?" he asked. "I figured a women of your beauty and status would wish for nothing more."
"I have to worry about my parents moving on, they aren't the youngest people in the world. Once they leave, I will have to rule my kingdom. I've watched them and learned from their mistakes, but I'm not ready for such responsibilities. I prefer reading, and I want to explore the villiages, but my father forbids me to leave the castle." You sighed.
"Well I'm once you're queen you may go aorund the kingdom. Nobody can tell you otherwise. Sadly, your story sounds like the one of Princess Jasmine. " You smiled at him.
"I suppose it does...." You stated. Suddenly, you heard a cry of anger.
"Arthur Kirkland!" You and this man, who was supposidly Arthur, turned to look. Your father's face was red. He stormed to you, taking you away from Arthur.
"________, what are you doing?" He asked, outraged. You were curious as well. What were   you doing? "This man is not on our guest list, so how he got in is a mystery."
You walked from the situation, only to bump into a man. He had flowing blonde hair with crisp blue eyes and some stubble. Sir Francis Bonnefoy, of the French Kingdom.
"Oh, mon cher, you should know better than to take the hand of anyone but moi." He said, taking your father.
"But father said that I should take the hand of anyone who asked. Atleast, Eduard told me that's what he said." Francis chuckled.
"Well be careful, mon cher." You nodded, turning your head from him to the situation. Your father was glaring at Arthur, yelling at him.
"Well sir." Arthur said calmly. "All I wished was to have one dance with your daughter. Is that to much to ask?" He asked.
"Yes! You are a mere peasant in my villiage, and unless you recieve and invitation from my kingdom allowing you to attend a ball, you do not come!" Arthur flinched. He glanced to you, and you looked back, but couldn't move due to the fact that Francis held you tightly in his embrace, and glared at Arthur. He nodded.
"Alright, I best be on my way then." He said. Two men came and roughly escorted him out of the palace and back to the villiage. Your father sighed.
"________." He said. "Do not go anywhere or do anything with that man, again, you understand? He is known in the palace for being a sneaky theif and he is not of social status for you.." You nodded. "He makes kingdom events terrible."
You shrugged. Personally, you thought that was the most fun you've had at any ball.
Okay, so I have a new story. This is Pesant!EnglandxPrincess!Reader-Diffrent Sides of the Castle.
