Chapter 7- A Change in Plans
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"WHAT?!" Both Francis and your father cried.
"Like, you heard me." he said. She already canceled your wedding, and as her like, best friend, I need to totally be there for her forever and ever. Besides, I'd make prettier babies." You smiled. Francis stood up.
"But can you provide for 'er like I can?" he asked. Feliks chuckled.
"But your kingdom like totally surrenders all the time and totally blames your failure on like, God." He said. You giggled. The two boys immediatly began to fight. Your father broke it up.
"Hey hey! Now I suppose...since both of you are so dead set on marrying my daughter, and both of you are eligable men for her, we will have her decide. _______?" You stood up and walked in between both of them. "Now, _______, who would you like to have as your husband?" He asked. You looked at them.
"I believe there is only one fair way to do this." You said. You held up a pointer finger. "Eenie meanie miney, Feliks." You said, giving him a hug. Feliks grinned.
"TAKE THAT!" He cried. Francis pouted.
"Nobody loves me, poo..." Francis mumbled. You looked at Feliks and smiled. He grinned.
"Like, come with me!" He said, taking your hand and bringing you to your bedroom. You followed, and closed your door.
"Why would you do that?" you asked him. He smiled.
"Because like, we all know you don't want to marry Francis. Besides, what if you're pregnat? Atleast the baby totally has a better chance of looking like me than Francis...And he smells like drunk cheese like all the time." You giggled, and hugged him.
"And all this time I thought you were nothing but an idiot..." you mumbled. Feliks pouted.
"Hey!" You laughed. Suddenly, your door opened and your dad was there. You looked at him.
"Hey." Your father said. "Feliks, may I have a word with my daughter?" Feliks nodded.
"Of course sir." Feliks smiled, then kissed your cheek, and headed out of the room. Your father sat on the bed, and you sat inbetween his legs, like you always did when you two talked together. He sighed.
"Dear. I know it's kind of late but..I realized we should talk about the entire incident with the villiage." You sighed.
"Yes I know, it was wrong. I've apologized already." You siad.
"I know, I know but I never told you what happened that made me refuse to have you leave the palace." You raised an eyebrow.
"What happened?" you asked. He sighed.
"Well, back when you were a baby, not even one, we went outside for a picnic. Me, you, and your mother. While your mother and I set everythign up, you had found a butterfly. You were just learning how to walk, and followed the butterfly out of the palace."
"Wow, even back then I hated it here." You said. Your father chuckled.
"Anyways. You managed to get out to the villiage. Around that time, there was a big squabble between the villiagers, specifically Arthur's oldest brother and another boy. They would always fight in the square, and villiagers would find it entertaining, and watched. Arthur watched as well." You giggled. "And so, you wandered into the fight, and the boys didnt see you, and knocked you down. You had hurt your arm from the fall and began to cry. The crowd turned to you. They began to panick, some scattered. When your mother and I arrived and found you in the square, you were surrounded by villiagers, and I saw Arthur and Allistor flee. That's why I never liked them very much. I managed to get you, and we got you fixed up. I never wanted you to get hurt like that again, so I never let you leave the castle." He said. You blinked.
"So I bruised my arm and got banished form the villiage?" you asked, basically putting his story in simplier terms. He laughed.
"If you were a parents in that situation you'd see it diffrently." He said. You smiled. "But you see what I mean?" You nodded.
"Yeah I do." You smiled. "I always knew you had a heart somewhere under all this muscle." You said. He grinned and hugged you.
"Sarcastic. Just like my ittle girl should be." He laughed. "So now we should prepare you and Felik's wedding, eh?" You nodded. Suddenly, Feliks bursted through the door.
"IT'S GOING TO TOTALLY BE A WICKED HIPSTER PINK!" He cried. Your father looked from him to you.
"...You still can change your mind ____________." He siad. You shook your head.
"I'm not going to daddy." You siad. He sighed.
