Years passed, and you soon wound up forgetting about Alfred a bit. He would creep into your mind sometimes, the day you first saw his shadow, the day he showed himself to you, the day he scared your father. It was all good memories. Peter asked weer Alfred was, and why he wasn't coming out anymore a week after Alfred had been sent back home. You told him he went home to his wife and daughter who are waiting for him in heaven.
However, you did miss him. Altohugh you only knew him for a really short time, you found him funny, and sweet, not at all mean like your father suspected.
Then, one day...
"_______! Can you go clean the attic?!" Arthur called from the kitchen.
"Sure!" You cried, running to the attic stairs and pulling the string to reveal them. You climbed upstairs, and turned on the light as you coughed from the dust. As you began to clean, you saw something. A giant, picture frame? Lifting it up, you looked at the picture and saw...
...Alfred....
Your heart beat sped up, and you smiled. He was in his American Revolution uniform. The picture wasn't taken by camera, of course, but it was painted. Probably by his wife. And it was beautiful to the point were it did look taken by cameria. You found out he had dusty blonde hair and deep blue eyes. He was smiling the portrait, just like he had been before he dissapeared. Suddenly, you felt something. Turning around, you saw Alfred's spirit. He was with a girl, and a toddler girl. They stood together happily, the baby begging her father to pick her up. Alfred looked over at you and smiled happily, before finally dissapearing with his the two girls.
"That must've been...." You looked back at the picture. "...His family." You chuckled. Then, you felt a piece of paper on the back of the frame. Taking it, you opened it up and read it. This is what it said:
My beloved Alfred F. Jones,
Please be safe on your mission for our countries freedom. Keep this letter with you always, for it shall bring you luck. Your baby daughter and I shall be waiting here, paitentally waiting for your arrival home with stories to tell. And if you happen to die, send this letter back to me, and I will treasure it, and put it with the portrait of you I have just but recentally painted.
Stay safe~
~Alice

You smiled at the beautiful letter, reading it over and over again. Forgetting about your attic duties, you brought the picture downstairs ad showed your brother. He was delighted to see Alfred's face again. You told him how you saw him with his family, and how pretty his wife and daughter were. Once he ran off happily, you brought the picture up to your room, the letter too. Hanging the picture up on your wall, you smiled. The letter, you hide in your 'Memories Box', to look back on it when you get older and remeber this. Sitting on your bed, you pulled out your computer and smiled, thinking:
Alfred F. Jones. Maybe one day we can see eachother in heaven
DONE!~ The epilouge is DONE, and this story is DONE!

So enjoy this fluffy ending of cuteness and sadness while I sleep. It's midnight and I'm tired as SHIT.
